How Does Reverse Number Lookup Works
USAs telephone numbering system is defined by NANP (North American Numbering Plan) which covers USA, Canada, Bermuda and Caribbean nations. Under this NANP, every number will be in the format +1-NPA-NXX-XXXX where NPA is the area code, NXX is the local exchange and XXXX is the subscriber number. +1 is the country dialing code when the call is made from out side of NANP covered regions.
Our Reverse Lookup tool splits the number into NPA-NXX-XXXX format and tries to match with the area codes and local exchange codes. Upon successful lookup, this tool displays the appropriate information. This Reverse Lookup tool works for all cell phones, landlines and other special numbers.
